Hrrm now that I have an Orky list I really like hammered out, so now I turn to the most important part of making a right Green Mob.

Specifically I'm starting at the top, with the BOSS!

After seeing jamsessionein's warboss conversion it gave me an idea, why not look at other GW models for potential Warboss models? So I looked... and looked... and ate some M&M's, and slept, and watched TV, and looked, and finally looked at the specialist game ranges. THere I found this treasure:



The Ogre team for Blood Bowl! The two models I circled so expertly with MS Paint are the ones I think are best primed to look real Orky. Just Green Stuff some bigger tusks, add more armour plates and make them look less Foot-ball like, and chop off arms and stuff replacing them with the right armaments and bada-bing bada-boom! Ork Warboss!

Any advice on how you would go through doing it?

Good idea. I think one or more of Ghazgull's arms or a dread arm to replace the current ones would be a good start. There was an Inquisitor cyber gladiator guy who would work too. Some machinery on the back to power it would be next. Then plates and pouches and guns and knives to taste.

There you go, that should give you some inspiration!

whitedragon, what are the base models for your middle and rightmost bosses?

The middle boss is a blood bowl ogre, the ones posted at the top of the thread!

The rightmost boss is a bloodthirster.
