Hi All,

I am building a ork army in a horde style with some trukkboys for support. The army itself is under construction, so any comments that can be worked in I will take into consideration. Please keep in mind that whhen you say add in a PK that I need the 25 points elsewhere, so mention what I should drop too.....

The only Thing I see that can change is take out the demolisher and replace it with a grot screen and bulk up some other units...

BTW, I have read the ork tactica and this is the list I came up with...

Just a friendly neighbourhood bump....

I am wondering if the list is that good that I can't improve, or if I have done something that makes people ignore me...

I think the shoota boys are out of element ... if they want to shoot at any decent range they have to let the sluggas go on ahead, which means that the sluggas are taking all the causualties and thus weaker when they charge. 1 s4 shot, and then 4 st 3 no save greater than 4 is much better than 2 S4 shots in rapid fire range IMO.

Also, same can be said for tankbustas. You have plenty of rokkits and Power claws to deal with armor. Slugga boys in both cases would lead to a large foce of boyz barreling towards the enemy while being supported by the truk boys and the distractions of commandos, etc.

My suggestions would to be drop the burna boys entirly, only take one unit of kommandos, and take a second unit of Flash gits if you want long range shooting .. and that unit is great for orky shooting. Then replace the shoot boyz with slugga boyz.

However variety is the spice of orkiness and having a diverse bunch of units just seems more fluffy if you are playing more for fun than overall effectivness. I like changing what I use just about every battle. One battle I use three buggies, 3 trucks and a battle wagon, the next battle I use all footsloggers. Changing things around like that makes me lose more often since I don't always consider the optimal build if I am just trying to use different units than I used last time. To me orks are the fun army ... I don't care about winning or losing as long as I put a good orky showing on the board(My orks encountered a redemptionist and before they ate him he converted the warboss so I have a whole ork army rampaging around buring and blowing up in the name of all thats holy LOL)
