so i was at Games Day Canada buying a couple bikes for my army, i got into a little bit of small talk with one of the black shirts about my White Scar. i complaind about how they got taken apart in the space marine codex and he told me that GW was doing smoething about bike armies in one of the upcoming white dwarfs. i was sceptical, thinking he was just humouring me so i would go away, but couldnt help but hope. any one out there no anything about what he was talking about?

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... Actually it will be right before the new ork codex. Which, of course, comes right after Codex: Pan Fo is reviled.

welll, since they really are going to release a BA army list in next month's WD, I suppose it's possible that they're planning on publishing army lists for a few other specialist chapters too. Espeically if it lets them selll a few new models...

Every month, they should change one unit from the space marine codex to WS10, BS10, S10, T10, etc. and arm them with assault cannons, and see how many models they can sell in the month before the next White Dwarf comes out and changes everything back in favor of a different unit!
Wow. I think I just solved WD's sales slump AND GW's overall sales slump. This should be good. If anyone from GW is reading, PLEASE do this! It will attract new players AND appeal to veteran gamers!!!

Well, if you heard it from a fascist, it must be true...
On a more serious note, from what I understand GW is moving away from all of the sub-lists and sub-sub-lists that they had in the past. A White Scars army list would be contrary to this trend, so it seems unlikely that this is anything more than a rumor.

Man, I was soooo excited when I saw this thread. Then I read it and was sadly dissapointed. As a White Scar player for nearly a decade, I couldnt want anything more than a list with character like our old one.
