Here's a combo I thought up today (I haven't seen it posted anywhere yet) in preparation for playing my Skorne tonight. I usually play Morghoul, so I've been trying to think up combos for Makeda and Hexeris.
-> Friendly Frenzy (well, that's what I'm calling it so far)
- Purpose: Target enemy warbeast in attempt to make it frenzy and attack its own side.
- Required models:
a. Hexeris or Makeda
b. Basilisk Drake
c. Basilisk Krea
- Optional models: a. Paingiver Beast Handlers
1. Pick target: Should be enemy warbeast that:
- Has fury on it.
- Has friendly models in its back arc.
- The bigger the better.
2. Basilisk Drake attacks target enemy warbeast with Withering Gaze (boost attack and damage)
- This turns the warbeast around, so friendly troops are now in its front arc.
3. Basilisk Krea attacks target enemy warbeast with Spiritual Paralysis
- The warbeast's fury now cannot be leached.
4. Hexeris casts The Suffering on target enemy warbeast.
- The warbeast is now at -2 THR, and must pass threshold test next Control Phase even if it doesn't have Fury.
OR
Makeda casts The Lash on target enemy warbeast.
- The warbeast is now at -2 CMD and THR.
5. OPTIONAL: Attack target enemy warbeast with Paingiver Beast Handlers in an attempt to max out the 'beast's Fury stat.
Next turn, enemy beast is making a Threshold test at -2, hopefully with maxed Fury.
- This means a DTM would need to roll a 4 on two dice to pass.
A little complicated, but it could work out in a very cool way.
