Well, I for one love the B&W color work on the fex, really spooky and striking. Just one thing - how did you paint his eyes? I would think with such a subdued carapace scheme his eyes (and tongue possibly) would be wonderful places to really add in some POP of color - blazing red eyes, perhaps a scorpion green tongue or more subtle deep purple ...
I kinda feel the same about the 'fleshy' worky bits on the guns, the ammo sacs included, that they would have been a good place for either some POP or some nice subdued color. It looks impressive as is, I just worry about how black it is.
I'd have to semi-agree with Boss here...the B&W looks cool, but it seems like there's something just...missing. A few dabs of color here or there would really bring out some definition to the model.

I love that effect O.O, I wanted to do my Carapace in a similar manner but had trouble making the black and the highlights look clean and finished. I also really like the Scything Talon legs.

Can I ask how you went about putting the centre back piece on the torso and got it to fit? (I'm currently putting together my own Fex)
Keep up the great work and post more pics of your progress
