My guess is that the circles on top of the bunker are mounts for different weapon options later.

according to Jean Bey: artillery.

Also according to Jean Bey: people don't really want to play a game that lasts more than 1 hour or so...

I am really liking the esthetics of the different factions. The UNA Firetoads have a modern, slightly Anime look about them. The Therian Golgoths are rather insectoid. And these new Red Bloc walkers look like something the Soviets might have produced in the late '40's, if they'd had walker tech. One of my friends called the Kolossus a walking dishwasher. Personally, it reminds me of Robby the Robot for some reason... there is no real resemblence, but the idiom seems the same.  Or Yokoyama's Maschinen Kreiger stuff.  I just love it.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

I really like the Red Block stuff. I was going to hold off and have a look at the karmans, but I like the gritty look of the Red Blok so much that I think that is going to be my second force. The special characters look good to, and with the apparent emphasis on characters all riding in striders, it really makes the game feel very vintage Battletech, with a few heros riding around in top notch equipment backed up by hordes of desperate infantrymen. Well executed.

According to Jean Bey the price of the bunker should be around 25 Euros.

I agree, very nice bunkers. If pre-paint has a place in this hobby, it is in the terrain section. I'll be interested to see the price on that.
