There are several tournaments coming up in the next few months and I would like to start a new eldar army.  The theme is the Bards of Twilight and I was planning on making them a host of harlequins and the rest of the traveling chorus.  Besides the harlies, I was planning on making the squad leaders all musicians of different sorts and have an army badge that can has several versions for each squad.

The three tournaments are 1850, 2250 and 2500, so I have a lot of work building and painting, but I'm not sure how to build a playable, competative list with the new eldar codex.  Any and all help would be appreciated.

Also, is there a way to get 4 color decals?

Most of the Eldar armies I see run two or three falcons. This vehicle fully tooled out is a monster of a machine. It takes a really lucky roll to kill one of these machines. I faced this army for the first time and thou it seems like a great army. The army I run had no problem with it and I dont see one in the future either. Thou, looking at 87 marines on the board is something a small army is unable to handle in the first place.

Thou, it is a great army for all kinds of reason. Main thing is point denail and yes this army can do that. You might blow a weapon off and on his turn he boost to the other side of the board behind cover. This sucks unless you have some way of getting to him.

I myself have even thought about running a army around this theme. Falcons on ebay are not that costly and getting three would be easy. Two more and convert for the heavyies. Now all I would need is the codex and some troops. Thou, I would think of fielding as many of the vehicles as I could.

I think Vex has been sneaking around my workshop.

I've been working on a simialr theme, slowly picking up the RT era musicians off E-bay and Bartertown.

It's possible that I'm a stalker....but pretty sure it wouldn't be a 40k stalker...

Not my style.. =]

Ok so the ultimate goal is to create a fluffy force that I can ultimately take to the pre-Apocalypse 'Ardboys tournament.  What is the meanest list I can take for 2500 points?

I'm thinking Harlies and Dire Avengers for the basis, but not sure after that.  I can see two real ways to go....either all mounted or all footslogging.  Any ideas or sample army lists to get me started?
