Well I got one person to agree to play mordheim... though I was going for necromunda, but it's a start. Anywho, what list would you play out of Orcs, Dwarf Treasure Hunters, Marienburgers, Possessed, or Beastmen

I like possessed, and with a name like Angron you should too.

My game is just as good as their game and saner by reason of its size. Here is War, done down to rational proportions, and yet out of the way of mankind...

Any thoughts? Oh, and is it possible to use a buckler and a dagger in the same hand? I know it is irl, just not sure if it is in the game

posessed are the reason i allowed my nostalgia to lead me from mordhiem back to necromunda. I like mordhiem but it's so unbalanced that it seems like a trained monkey could win with possesed /skaven/ undead.
In necromunda, theyr'e all humans (scalies aside) so your'e not going to see a rat ogre or possesed stomping through 5 guys at once.

No, maybe not, but I have seen single spyers tear through entire gangs. And I don't mean newbie gangs, I mean 2500+ rating gangs.

ah i remeber the good old days- back when i spent 2 years building up a warband with my friends
final game was between my reiklanders (who had 3 heros with maxed out balistic skill and tons of skills to go with them- all with hochland long rifles- and 2 close combat monsters- oh and my leader who only had one arm) against the skaven- again maxed out heros, skills, rat ogre etc... there were a few other gangs, including an undead one with an uber vampire-

Its at this point that i do realise it was abit unbalanced
the skaven player wiped out a couple of warbands using their slings (19x2 shots) the vampire munched through another couple, and i had the "hunch" skill, so placed my 2 close combat monsters in the objective building. Turn 1 charge, first attack hits, criticals and kills the baby dragon inside
then my marksmen picked off the rest of the gangs
good times

its funny, how in the beginning i thought it was balanced, but when Dwarf troll slayers, and insanely tweaked out vampires would walk through warbands......it was a wake up.....still though, i miss blunderbussing a bunch of skaven with those annoying slings.....ahh

Always a fan of Dwarves, fond memories of my two trollslayers cutting down at LEAST 10 zombies over 3 turns trying to get to the necromancer who was summoning them. Of course, one dropped from his wounds (survived the battle) and the turn before the last one would have reached the bastard, I killed his Vampire and the warband fled.. *grumble grumble*
