Showcase Comics, Granite Run Mall, Media PA, 610 891 9229.

Our next Warhammer Fantasy tournament  will be held on Sunday, the 22nd of July. 2000pt lists.

-All models must be painted and based, no exceptions. You must own all your models, no borrowed armies.

-Scoring will use the WAMP system, 3 games. (Loss 10pts, tie 15pts, win 25pts, bonus points for killing enemy heroes, capturing deployment zones, destroying most expensive unit.Awards will be for Battle Points, Best Painted, and Players Choice. The 3 categories are separate, with no overall winner. Best painted will be selected by Showcase, PC award will be awarded by the players, tallying up each players votes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

-We will be starting on time, so don't show up late.  Store opens at 10:am, tournamant will be starting at 11:00 am.

Scenery will be fixed on each board. We are doing another upgrade to our tournament boards, adding in about 1000.00 in the new GW buildings and woods, with a lot of kit bashing. The idea is to always have high quality tables equal to what you see at a GD tourney. (Minus stupid thinks like diceeating lava tables.)

Prizes: Good ones! Yeah, I know, lame, but working out exact details, and keeping a few things as a surprise. GW will be throwing in some nice prize support, we have some custom trophies in the works, and GF9 may have a surprise or two to throw into the goodie bags.

There is no comp. That doesn't mean I will be happy if 12 people show up with the most hideous lists I've ever seen, but if it's a legal list, you can play it. If you have questions about what's legal, ask Mike Clark. (MikenjudyC@aol.com, phone for the shop 610-891-9229

There are a lot of nasty lists that take a ton of painting, modeling, and dollars. The restrictions on owning the pieces used, WYSIWYG, and painting, make those armies a lot tougher to run. You want to bring Morgurr? Go ahead. But I want to see those 20 chaos spawn that you have painted up, preferably in size increments so there is some way for your opponent to know whether they have 1 wound or 6.

Scenery will be static. Boards will be randomly assigned. Tournament is capped at 16 players max. Cost of the tournament is 15.00 Sign up and pay ahead of time to reserve your spot. Store opens that day at 10:00 am, first game starts at 11:00 am. We will be starting on time, so don't show up late. In the event of a sold out tournament, pre-paid players who aren't at the store by 11:00 may be bumped in favor of someone who is there and wants to play. In this case your entry fee will be refunded.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Nice to see a tourney run on Sunday for those of us who work and/or practice our faith on Saturdays

I heart SYR 8766

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... Asmodai (my new hero)

At some point these sorts of decision-making skills lump you into the same camp as the Lehman Brothers, the White Star Line shipping company, and mothers who smoke during pregnancy.

Plus as an added bonus, anyone that plays might get lucky enough to get beaten by me!

Nope. 1-1-1, very sad performance, but still a good time.

I did win best painted though.
