Yep, the unruly masses are calling for another one of our used game auctions. The next one is scheduled for Sunday, August 5^th.

 

July 27^th to August 4^th: Sellers can bring in items for the auction.

August 5^th, <st1:time minute="0" hour="10">10 A.M.</st1:time>: Store opens early for registration and preview of items.

                   <st1:time minute="0" hour="11">11 A.M.</st1:time>: Mike and Jim have lunch to give Mike strength and courage. 'Lunch' may take unique forms and be liquid.

                   <st1:time minute="0" hour="0">12 A.M.</st1:time>: Auction begins. Mike yells and screams for 6 hours. Everyone has fun. EVERY SINGLE ITEM GETS SOLD. No exceptions, it all goes.

                   <st1:time minute="0" hour="18">6 P.M.</st1:time> : Mike collapses, everyone takes new stuff home.

August 6^th  Sellers may pick up their credit voucher, or use it to take home new games.

 

How’s it work?

Look through your old miniatures and games, and see if there’s anything you don’t want. You can put most anything in the auction from full armies to single figures, even just collections of bitz. Painted or unpainted, built or still in the box, even something your dog chewed up. We take your items, enter them into the auction, assign you a lot number, and auction them off in a live auction that goes all day. Whatever your items sell for, you get that much in store credit. Trade in old stuff you don’t want, and take home new games and miniatures.

 

What can I enter?

Most of the items entered are old Games Workshop models, but we will also take miniatures from other systems, and other old games. Just remember that most of the gamers bidding on things are looking for GW stuff, Warmachine, or similar games. If you want to put in your Star Trek action figures, there may not be anyone wanting them that day, and they will go for very little.

 

How do I enter my items?

Sort out what you want to sell, and bring it in the week before the auction. You absolutely can’t bring items in the day of the auction. The list is printed, we are set up, and ready to get bidding, I just can’t take in more items at the last minute.

 

What do I need to do to bid?

Bidding is easy, just show up, register at the front counter, and get an auction booklet with your number on the back. Bid by holding up your number. If you win, pay for your items at the counter. Buyer pays sales tax on the price of the item, just like any other sale.
