About a month ago I sold some items on E-bay. The buyer contacts me to paint up some more models for him. He agrees to the price and gives me money to go buy the models. Well I get them painted and he flakes out with every possible reason to not pay. He finally admits he is a minor and theatens to have my accoutn frozen by opening up a dispute and getting his parents/cops involved. I refund his money and tell him to sod off.

Now I am stuck with 6 painted Imperial Guard Models and two converted Preachers. I am out the 75 bucks I spent to buy the models and the 160 I was to make by having them painted. I had hoped to put the money towards going to Gamesday, but sadly it was not to be.

If someone wants to do the right thing and buy all 8 models for 235 you would be open to a well spring of positve kharma. I am however a realist.

I have parted them out into 4 2 model lots. Each lot is 40 bucks or you can have all 4 for 150.

I am also looking for unpainted NIB Khador

I will not deal with anyone under 18, US only and you must pay via PAY Pal.

You should have contacted ebay and got his account frozen, as you need to be over 18 (as far as I remember) to even have an ebay account. And by the sounds of it, it was an 'off ebay' transaction, so even if he really wanted to freeze your account he would have had no legs to stand on.
Very nicely painted models btw
Oh, and be sure to put him on your blocked bidders list too.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

How does it cost $75 for 8 infantry models anyway, unless they are =I=.

I wouldnt have refunded him personally, but held onto the money until he can pay. Just because the client was a minor doesnt mean you knew he was a minor. This guy is a fraudster, send his corerespondences to ebay and get the brat stopped; and do let him get his parents involved.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It doesn't matter if he knew the jerk was a minor or not.

Do post the guy's eBay account details all around so that no one else gets ripped off.
