For those of you who have purchased anything from this guy, it's been two weeks since I sent him the money. The email address that we communicated with no longer "exists" and I haven't recieved a thing.

So if anyone else worked with this guy, speak up if you've gotten anything from him, otherwise, don't bother contacting him.

I got screwed too. I do so want to find this numb nuts.

How did you pay the guy for stuff you are suppose to receive?

If you sent him the payment via mail then post a name and address.  Let everyone know this scumbags name and address. 

If via Paypal, then fill out a Dispute, hope there is still money in his account for you to get back. 

And if it is a substantial amount of money, then get the authorities involved.  This is mail fraud to start.

I e-mailed the guy to buy some of his stuff.  But I asked that he send first, since I have high Bartertown and E-bay ratings.  Never got a reply back.

Ender is pursuin the police matter. He made some pretty decent headway in tracking this guy down. We've both also filed claims through Paypal. This sucker wasn't as smart as he thought he was.

Like I said, when you get the police involved, I'll make a statement to help slam this guy. Just let me know when they want to get ahold of me.

No, wait, that sounds a bit suspect...

Oh, here is the basic plan...

First, I will demand my items. he can keep the money. i am a fair guy. We know this guy won't do that.

Second, I file a small claims court complaint against him in my hometown. I ampretty sure they have jursidiction because the plaintiff resides in the area. The costs of filing will be attached to the verdict.... The $20 or so in miniatures have now gotten him $100 or more in debt. If that is not paid then...

Third, file to have a bench warrant for his arrest in his hometown. the basis for which is not paying the court ordered amounts. Now, the $20 in miniatures will cost him an additional $300 - $400 dollars plus what he owes from small claims court.

If he can't pay then he will be arrested and possibly serve jail time. His paychecks and tax returns can be attached to get the funds.

All this for a few minis. I hope he's reading this. I hope he doesn't mind realizing that $20 in minis could end him up behind bars as someone's wife for a night...

Aint the legal system grand? Of course, he does have a chance. If he's reading he can send the items. No harm, no foul. But if not.... Well, see above.

Hey Ender, keep us updated on this issue.

I had some punk do something similar. He decided to a tire on my car and truck. After I had them fixed, the moron decided to come back (he was driving a car). I got his license plate number, turned it into the cops.

Turns out this kid (18 years old) was the son of a first sergeant (E-7 in the Air Force). Too bad for the kid, I was an officer. Dad threw him out on his ear and I filed small claims against him. So he had $300 in cost of tires, and another $150 in court fees and being served a summons.

Nothing says "oh &!%$#" like when a county Sheriff knocks on your door and slaps some paperwork into your chest.

Good to hear that. Satisfying as it sounds for an asshat to get the come-uppance he deserves, it is far preferable to get what you wanted in the first place while hopefully teaching said asshat to be less of one in future.

I actually have been unable to get ahold of them so far. If they've got caller ID, my number shows up as unknown because it's a Japanese phone number, so they may just assume I'm a telemarketer or the like. If he did send his stuff to me, it'll probably be another 3 or 4 days before I get it myself.

Yeah, if your calling from Japan, it would appear like a Japanese number .  GL I hope you get your stuff.
