Subject: Anyone ever order from Red Dragon Terrain?

Hey All, I was not sure where to post this, so I figured this would be the spot. I was curious if anyone has ever ordered from Red Dragon Terrain? I made an order in May, and still haven't seen it. I emailed them a number of times, and no answer. I couldn't find a phone number for them. Has anyone else had this problem?

I e-mailed long ago about possibly doing a commission terrain piece, but they didn't respond so I saw that as a sign not to do business with them. Good luck, I hope don't get "Drop-zoned" or "New-waved"

I remember ordering from new-wave about 4-5 years back- I ordered a Tau Battleforce, the 90 dollar one. Three arrived in the mail, and I chose to pretend someone out there really loves me So, keep those spirits up, even though this order might be lost to the warp, good things do come around!

I never heard of them until you mentioned them. Looking at the site: www.reddragonterrain.com/ doesnt make me want to order from them. Id keep emailing them. Then contact the better business bureau. They may know of a way to contact them directly. But then again, I dont do business with anyone online that I dont have full verifiable contact info for. Hope it wasnt much, it may be an expensive lesson.

Wow... that is a busy web site. Sort of looks like it was made by a 14 year old, what with all the fonts and colors and clutter. Quite a jarring effect...
Hellfury has it right though, the Better Business Bureau is often the best way to go. Simply mentioning in the email that you intend to contact them often jolts a response. Also, contact your credit card company. Often they can stop charges and refund your money, as well as any internet fraud protection they have. My fiance has pretty much mastered the art of stopping payment when a product was undelivered, or a service improperly performed. Essentially the credit company sends a bill to the store, and if they don't pay, they threaten to not allow them to accept the payment; you of course have gotten your money back by then.
No matter what you do though, stay vigilent and determined. Most companies and other con artists assume you won't bother to follow up (like me, I am lazy) but if you are persistant you can wear them down. (Note: persistance is sometimes needed with your credit card company as well. They don't always like stopping payment, but if you keep calling and insisting, and talking to managers, sooner or later they agree. However, MANY just require a letter and are happy to help.)

I would avoid them. A buddy of mine ordered from them a couple years ago, ordered multiple terrain pieces and got only one. Said buddy filed a dispute with Paypal, and apparently since "something" was shipped, Paypal didn't care. I beleive he had to get his credit card company involved. Definitely get your credit card company involved.

Thank all for your replies. I contacted Red Dragon with a 24 hour deadline before I take action against them. I will keep you updated!
