Boy, he sure took a long time to paint. Anyway here is my first non-GW model that I've painted in like 15 years. I give you Snuffaluffaghast the Titan Gladiator!

After I took the pics I realized I forgot to add grass to his base, oh well maybe next time

Wadaya think?

Looks really nice, but the picture is not doing it justice. I'd like to see the skin better. I was blown away by the skin in the Hordes book, but you seem to have taken a different, equally effective angle.

yeah, my camera kinda sucks I went with brown for the skin because I wanted something different. I started with dark flesh, then washed with watedered down black ink, the drybrushed snakebite leather, then vermin brown, then dwarf flesh for some of the highlights, but very lightly. Didn't really do much mixing just used straight color. The blues are actually more black along the edges and the middle areas are blue, I did a lot of blending, but it doesn't show in the pics at all

Maybe I'll get a better camera someday

How big is it? It's damned cool, that's for sure and the look of the exposed parts of the body and horns is very realistic. The thing is just super brutal. Great job!

Thanks

He's pretty big.. I guess around the size of a 40K dreadnought, but he's all metal GW spoiled me, I forgot what it was like to build and paint a big heavy model like that. So used to plastic.

In games he's really nasty too, I'm planning to add another one to my army but not till after I get the rest of the stuff painted. gotta do 2 cyclopses and Morghoul. I'll prolly get the titan with the cannon next
