And note that 3x sisters repentia won first in the costume contest! The Balti repentia could beat all of their 13-year-old butts though, not just because her eviscerator tears the pants off their little silver sticks - Salvage

I saw that Sister Repentia at Baltimore Boss. I sure hope you're 15 since that's...pretty creepy otherwise. On that note, I hoped the Catachan guy at Baltimore won because he actually had to put a bit of work into his costume (bodybuilding those brah arms).
Anyway, really nice stuff. Always fun to see a new guy sweep a few trophies (Patrick Nankil).

I dont know Boss, there was a girl dressed as a repentia at the LA Games day that was pretty hot. She was damn near naked, with strips of cloth taped on and some big go go boots, and she was definitely not 13.

I saw her. I don't think she was trying to be a Repentia, she had a chaos star on her loincloth.

Request thread title be changed to something to do with costumes. So guys, if any of you are bodybuilders I could work on some volume until next year and we could go as a band of flagellants.

Adam Roe's chaos terminator deserves some serious kudos, and is one of those rare miniatures that I regret not being able to see in person. It doesn't look like a miniature to me. It looks like a painting of a real terminator. I'm not sure what it is that he did, but it's seriously throwing off my ability to recognize it as a scaled-down miniature.

This one from the German Games Day strikes me as less a duel and more of "Gues Who's #$%^ed?" I thought this one was pretty awesome and had never seen it before:

The painting Marine is an inspired work. Self-reflexivity in 40k? Who'd've thunk it!

Some nice entries, but as usual, the quantity of quality isn't enough for so many different US GDs and this time none of the work makes my jaw crack my laptop like in UK or French events. What's the point of Staff Slayer word??? My 12year old little brother could win it. A butter knife would be a more fitting award.

link please? can't find it. re: The Repentia chicks winning costumes... I'm SHOCKED that they would find a way to give an award to THE ONLY FEMALES IN ATTENDANCE THAT WORE A COSTUME. I'm sure they were giving everything they could to keep the (less than 10) women that showed up from running out the door screaming.
