Am I putting to much into 17 scoring units?

   What the hell are berzerkers doing in there?  They SUCK!!!  I admit I'll have trouble vs. mech.  That is why I gave them 2 plasma pistols each.  Everyone needs a chance.  I've got 11 units to go forward and 6 units to sit back and shoot.  The chosen can't decide what to do so they will do two things.  Shoot at range with their heavy weapon and then double flamer anything that gets close in a suicide rush.  Missiles would be better against Nids and autocannons better against skimmers.  I went skimmer defense. 

The trip Daemon monsters can triple team strong units and split up against weak ones.  The Berzerkers and little daemons can try and rush or they can spread out and be a nightmare to find hidden all over the table.  I figure they will be more useful against 'zilla and marines.

Remember these missions will not all be about killing VP's.  It will also be about contesting markers and holding table quarters.  I would have loved to use this list in the 2nd mission of last round.

Naked Zerker champs should have fists to make things go away. I would drop some Daemons for this and also take Plas guns instead of flamers in your Chosen squads. I think this would be the way to go. Missions can also dictate how effective a list is. Infiltrate was great in the first round but maybe not in the semi's. Lack of vehicles as I recall gave some people a free VP. You might as well take double lashes also makes multiple plas guns so much sweeter.

Actually I would play it with double lash DPs, slaaneshi termies with combi-plasma, plague marines with double-plasma and rhinos, double melta raptors with slaanesh icon and finally 3x2 Oblits. Tactics for this are simple. Advance up with the rhinos, deploy/deep strike your squads, lash them into plasma range and then charge. Raptors hunt vehicles and help with CC.

Basically you want to abuse the living daylights out of rapid fire plasma. With raptors you might even be able to get behind falcons before deepstriking your combi-plasmas.

Plasma's are great until you play the 130 mutant LATD list that finished 3rd or the Horde zilla I faced in round 2. Something has to slow those things down and plasma it ain't.

Well horde armies tend to be more vulnerable to lash. They also don't do well against plague marines or terminators generally. I must have forgotten to say that you should equip your termies with heavy flamers. . Lash a unit bunched up next to your heavy flamer squads.

Well of course you make adjustments for your local metagame. Were I am at you need plas for the skimmer and marine armies that are in abundance.
