What do characters do when they are not on a quest? Where can you find them when they are at leisure?
"The Red Dragon Inn" of course!
Slugfest games has recently come out with a card game offering in a board game box. Very very fun game. The art is nice. The humor could be better with flavor text added to each card, but the card pictures speak for themselves.
It has huge potential for being a drinking game as well. Not a big surprise, as this game is the adventuring party playing drinking games and gambling already.
You sit around assigning your buddies drinks. Your fortitude decreases while your intoxication rises. If either of these pass each other, its "Lights out" and your dumped into your room at the Inn by the serving wench. If your not careful, you may find yourself broke as well. I case that happens, you dont even get the dignity of being unceremoniously dumped in the Inn room, as you sleep in dung and hay with the horses in the stables if that occurs.
For being basically a very simple card game with playmats for each player, the price is a bit steep at $35. But the price doesnt hurt so much after the simple rules are played. You can even play this game drunk....
Very fun. Sometimes the simpler games are where its at.
8 out of 10

(-1 for the unneeded high price, and -1 for not being as humorous as this potentially could be)
Check 'em out.
