Getting conflicting answers ..

Does anyone know whether you have to play at the closest store to you?

I heard that a list was being sent to the stores from the sales reps...can anyone ask a rep and get the answer...

thanks

What I did was called and pre-regestered at the closest store to me. Then I was told just to bring the invitation to the 2nd round that you should have gotten from placing in the first round.

Yea... waiting less than 2 hours for a result before posting again. Why not wait till people actually get back from their lunch breaks?

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I don't think so.

When you played in the first round, you were not assigned a store for the second.

If you have the ticket, you should be able to register where ever you want to.

I won mine in Los Angeles, and I was thinking about playing the 2nd round in Kissimee.

Speaking as someone running the Philadelphia regional:

-You don't need to play at the closest regional to you.

-You should bring the card given to you at the local tournament.

-You really MUST call and register with the store where you are playing at. Stores need to know how many players are coming. Many venures are filling up, and some stores are doing what they can to make more space available to accomodate more players. It's not only rude to not call and let them know you will be attending, it might actually cost you a spot in the tournament. If a venue can only hold 20 players, and 23 show up, first thing many stores will do is cut out the people that didn't bother making a phone call.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

That would be funny as hell if you did...lol. As it is, I am playing there since the next nearest one is in Virginia.

Or at least have a Mormon be the next President

I was getting laid off on Oct 5th, so I was going to head on up to Utah and visit my friends and my old stomping grounds in Utah.

But last week I paniced, and instead of taking a nice cushy severance package and suckle at the Government's teat of unemployment, I ended up taking a job in Jacksonville Florida.

That is why I was going to play in Kissimee. If I started work on Oct 15th, I would have to play the 'Ardboyz in Florida. But I was able to push my start date to Oct 22nd, to play it in LA.

And I do get around. I played in an RTT in Salem, Oregon a couple of months ago. That is where I would really like to move to, but it was not to be.

Now my problem is that my airline tickets to the Baltimore GT are from LAX. :|
