Starting to get my Eldar army painted. First Vehicle I have painted is my Fire Prism. I think it's finally finished...

Nice.
I'll be honest, the green doesn't really do it for me.

I am afriad that I must agree, the green is taking away from it, I think.
If you do want to use green, what I suggest is painting the weapon housing the blue color as with the rest of the hull, then paint the crystal itself green. This would really require you to paint all the waystones and gemstones as green as well, to help keep a more coherent color scheme.
The painting is solid though, and I like the blue color. Perhaps you can bring the blue into the wave spines onthe front of the vehicle by painting a blue band of color around the ends of each? Would tie the spines back into the main color of the vehicle that way, unifying the piece.

Highlord with a Blackstone Fortress
Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Is this a spot the difference puzzle?

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. |

Maybe the green looks better under a different light, turn the tank side on and equalise the lighting. Let us have a second(third) look.

I have to tend to agree with others comments on the green. It's not that it's not well done though. It just seems misplaced on the model. As if it really doesn't belong.
I'd say turn the green into blue, and add the blue stripes on the ends of the spines as Grimteef has suggested. The engine metallics could use a touch of weathering as well. Some burn mark washes would do wonders there.

I'm looking at them all and I just feel as if there is FAR too much cool coloring. The only warm color on all of the models is the highlighting on the fire prism itself. And that's a slight issue for me. It's all about finding complimenting colors when you're doing an army like this with lots of color. To really make the models stand out and draw in the eye of the viewer I think you should change from the cool very muted violet red that you have on them right now, to a warm and vibrant red. This would really add a lot to the composition of the models as a whole and make them much more interesting to look at. As for what shade of red, I would pick something along the lines of Yaks tutorial, how far you want to go with the highlighting is completely up to you. Here's the link: www.dakkadakka.com/CommunityForums/tabid/56/forumid/56/tpage/9/view/Topic/postid/109637/Default.aspx As for the green, I'm still not sold. But it could just be personal preference.
