Apparently the 102nd issue of Black Gobbo is out, and in it they have an interesting yet quite obvious weakly crafted article on building chaos terrain.  The one that grabbed my interest was the Ruined Statue

Being GW of course, they teasingly point out (or is it mockingly?) that the actual model is a 3-up, which no one can get but them   So here is my question: Are there any available equivalent models to do this with in regards to economy and composition?  I remember them saying something about the inquisitor line being usable, but I've never seen one to get an actual size comparison.

A great concept for an article, showing off terrain nobody outside GW can make! It's a bit like using that Forge World titan head as an example of an objective marker in Apocalypse.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

True the 3 Up scenery is a bit annoying, but the Titan head is easily made out of card & plasti card !!

Action figures and real world statues seem the logical starting point. Beyond that you're looking at the resin FW statues, the Sideshow collectable GW statues and other expensive toys.

I'd just find a medival knight or Roman legion statue, add some imperial icons and call it a day.

You could always use Inquisitor Scale models as well. I saw a cool statue using the female DH Grey Knight from INQ.
