This is a balanced list, at least to me, in that it sacrifices total Anti-Tank for more anti-infantry and unit control with all the chances to completely shut down and pin the army.  I'm not looking for cheesy or powergamed feedback, but would like general gameplay thoughts, or any thoughts that would fit the style (i.e. not adding in too much anti-tank, unless it would be viable without taking out much from the list that pins).

It accomplishes what it was designed to do very well.

The question I ask is "how useful is that mission"?

I am not a fan of pinning. I do not regard it as that good or that strong, further more, many things in the dark universe are either immune to it or have lots of tanks.

If you're prepared to autolose a not small percentage of games, I can't see any reason not to play this.

Seeing as you've restricted yourself to a design, then there's not many choices you have.

However:

cib + mp = noob

massive stealth unit = unwieldy

markerdrones = horrible

pathfinders = waste of points

This means the list will fail.

Eh, last time I ran my stealth suits, they took out a falcon turn 1, killing half the Fire Dragons inside. I'm not worried about a whole lot of tanks as they have a rear armor value. And if it's a Land Raider, chances are there's only 1 or two, so my 2 broadsides should be able to square off quite well.

I could see auto losing to a Tank Company though, lol.

You do realize that 90% of the Armies out there are either fearless or mechanized right?

Maybe in your area, this is for local gaming, not killing the world.

Haha, well if you don't want to kill the world this list looks fun.

Remember that the Marker Drone cannot fire at a different unit then the squad, only the 'ui can do that. If you want real dedicated Markersquads I'd say drop each FW squad to six man teams. With the drones you'll still have the semi-safe number of eight guys.

If the big Stealth squad works for you, more power to you! I find that it's a bit to hard to maneuver and hide, even with Stealth fields. I'd almost go with small 3 man marker Stealths instead...

Oh, and Piranha squadrons are great for both drones, anti-armor, and maneuverability. A squad of three dumps all six drones as a unit! Just a thought.

Anyways good luck. As said before there are way too many fearless guys in 40k nowadays!

I am actaulyl worried about where all the rear hits on tanks come from. Transports are a possibility but even Tau can't nip around the back of a Falcon 100% of the time.

The Fire Warrior teams are already at 6 man. And I thought that the Drones had to fire at whoever the owner fires at. And the Shas'ui has a Target Lock, thus letting him and his 3 Drones fire at different targets?

The Prianha squadron sounds like a good idea, I just don't have any! And the huge squad doesn't exactly work for me most of the time, I just like having 30 shots come from 1 squad. It's funny for Tau...

I get rear armor on Falcons if I get first turn, and the Stealth Suits infiltrate behind it somehow. Otherwise, yea, I'm pretty boned. I don't like Chaos, Avatars, Grey Knights, Orks, Deathwing, Chem Inhalers, Sisters with Faith Points, Chaplains who join certain squads, and any army that is all mechanized with this list. The other 10% of the armies out there I can dominate if done right.

But really, this army is a ton of fun, because when I can pull it off it's just funny. You're not necessarily demolishing armies in a few turns, but it frustrates the heck out of the opponent when his squad(s) can't do anything all game!

Locking down an opponent's army is a really fast way to suck the fun out of the game for your opponent.  Talk to people who have played games like Magic: The Gathering and ask them how fun it is to play against a lock-down deck.

You're going to run out of opponents (that have non-fearless armies) very quickly.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
