Is what can we call the cheesed out Ork army ( i love the idea that there can be a cheesed out ork army)

I'm going to assume its the all stormboy, all loota combo with some other stuff in the middle to bulk out the mandatory choices ,grots anyone?, or shoota boyz (with a PK nob, and a dreadsock for anyone who says you can't use it)

so in an effort to start what should be a natural process completel artificially:

Orkgonzola anyone??

Storming Dakka Horde/dakkastorm??

Lunar orks (cos they're green cheese and storm boys in low G is an awesome image)

as an aside, I'm aware that these lists haven;t had enough of a pla to be considered cheesy, and also that this isn't a rules question, but it is a you make the call issue...

go on give some suggestions.

ooh ooh, bouncing dakka boyz

Vompire, welcome to Dakka. Please use punctuation in the future. You’re arguments will be sign with greater merit and you’ll avoid people calling you on it.

Dr. Vompire, this post is barely comprehensible; please clean it up with regards to punctuation, spelling, grammar, and formatting.

I also move it here from You Make the Call; the Tactics forum is more appropriate.

Thank you.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Hmm,

Three looted vehicle frames/battlewagons all with ord pie plates
Two Big Meks with Shokkattack guns - more Ord pie plates.
Two Def Dreads as troops (because of the Big Meks)
Two more units of shoota boys (to hide the big meks in)
Three units of stormboys because you need fast assault
One unit of Lootas with mek upgrades to make use of the now assault KMB.
One unit of burnaboys (gonna have to ride in a battlewagon)

Thats a lot of low AP shooty dakka or HTH that gives no armor save, and 5 pie plates a turn. FIVE!!!!

Woot.

sounds fluffy and brutal, and disconcerting to a lot of enemy armies, Jayden63 - but very roughly how many points? There are some pretty expensive options there.

off-topic, i just knew it was a good idea to keep those 50 marine jumppacks I inherited a couple of years ago - I'd toyed with doing a BA jumppack army, but now some big loota/deffskull stormboy mobs are such an obvious choice!

It's going to be a lot of points for all that. Things do get expensive fast just like with any other list.

I've got nothing as far as the Orks go name wise, and I really wish I did.

I'm just getting you close numbers.  I do have the leaked PDF, but I'm not going to give out specific stuff or the extras that I've put onto the units)

Looted wagon with boomgun and a few extras 120
Looted wagon with boomgun and a few extras 120
Battlewagon with Killkannon and a few extras 175
Big mek with ShokkAttackgun 100
Big Mek with Shokkattackgun 100
Deff Dread with all DCCW (no shooting) with some extras - 120
Deff Dread with all DCCW (no shooting) with some extras - 120
20 shootaboys (no leader) - 120
20 shootaboys (no leader)- 120
20 stormboys (no leader) - 240
20 stormboys (no leader) - 240
12 burna boys (no leader) 180
5 Lootas (three are Meks) - 75
5 lootas (three are meks) - 75

This is 1705 points.

2 HQ
3 - Eliets
4 - Troop
2 - Fast
3 - HS

Of course what this list does have is low model count at 109 models. The points I listed aren't exact as you might take more wargear and of course your going to want a leader for the stormboys and burnaboys. But you get the idea. There are some fun things you can do with this codex. True effectiveness still needs to be decided on the battlefield.

ok, that's lower points than I'd expected - although personally I wouldn't equip all the individual units quite the way you have. Sounds like a very reasonable base for a 1750-2000 range army list
