Going for mostly assault squads with jump packs. I would like to keep vehicles to a minimum, and Baals are DEFINITELY out. (personal preference). Please help me tweak these lists to take all comers. I like aggressive lists that try to get into people's faces as much as possible. In addition to general C&C, I've included some specific questions that I'd like help with. 1000 pts: HQ: Lemartes.. 125 points. ELITE: 4 DC (free) with jump packs. 20 points. ELITE: 8 Veteran Assault marines, melta, pfist. 260 points. ELITE: 8 Veteran Assault marines, melta, flamer, pfist. 265 points. TROOPS: 5 Assault Marines, pfist. 165 points. TROOPS: 5 Assault Marines, pfist. 165 points. Should I dump a pair or 2 of vets in order to get some multi-melta bikes? 1500 pts: HQ: Lemartes. 125 points. ELITE: 5 DC (Free) with jump packs. 25 points. ELITE: 8 Veteran Assault marines, 2 flamers, 2 pfists. 285 points. ELITE: 8 Veteran Assault marines, 2 flamers, pfist, paired lit claws. 290 points. FAST ATTACK: Attack Bike (multi-melta). 50 points FAST ATTACK: Attack Bike (multi-melta). 50 points FAST ATTACK: Attack Bike (multi-melta). 50 points Should I split the flamers and meltas so that each squad is balanced and has a bit of everything, or are the more specialized squads fine? I added a pair of lightning claws to 1 of the vet squads because I had 5 points to spare. Should I change it instead to a thunder hammer? I haven't bought any models yet; I'm going to Hong Kong in a month to take advantage of my powerful and magical Loonie covered Canadian dollar, so until then I am fairly flexible about what models will be in the army.
