Battle College is MIA? Whassup? Or did I just miss something?

Weird.  I was on there pretty recently, at least within the last couple weeks.  Not sure what happened.

It's gone sadly. Owner can't afford cost for bandwidth and drag on his time.

Well that completely sucks. He had some excellent articles. I can sympathize with the 'no time or money' part.

Did anyone archive any of the content? I saved some of it to pdfs for my own reference; if the owner/authors would share or at least give permission it would be great to just make them available in that format if Dakka or someone would host them. I have faction-sorted documents on the warjack/beast, troop, and solo profiles. Would be great if someone had the casters and general gaming articles.

Kudos to BC for the great content. Would be a shame to lose it to unfortunate circumstances. Quality independent material always suffers at the hands of commercial concerns.

He kept it up for awhile without updates, or very limited ones. Sorry to see it go, but I also won't criticize someone for not keeping up a free website loaded with info while working a fulltime job.

It would be nice if the old PDF's could be kept here some where if it's O.K. with Yak.

The articles are still available...sorta...

If you were to Google say Irusk and Battle College, you would get a few links to the defunct Battle College site...

But if you click on the word Cached under the link description, you will get a text version of the page from the Google's cache memory...

I don't know how long these cached files will be available, but I plan to copy a few for myself...

None of the links work but you can look at the page numbers in the links and manually get to every page. Its a ton of work but I've recreated all of the factions I want from here the last several days.

It IS a little tedious, but with a little patience you can recreate the whole site...
