cant wait 2 months for the orks, might as well fill the time with a chaos army. This is my first chaos list, not really sure what will work and what wont work, so here it is. id love some feed back. 1850 list

Bloodfeeder: this is either overkill or no kill at all + a wound....If you pick a normal deamon weapon (undivided) you get a +1 Strenght with D6 attacks... I think its better...I would always pick the instant kill slaanesh deamon weapon...Its the best...

I played with two dreadnought...and its a nightmare... most times the either run towards the enemy and dont shoot at all (scared the living gak out of a few infitrating scouts tho...8) or the shoot at your own units...with two lascannons where are you going to place them?? not close to your own predators i think...

khorne bezerkers are to slow walking....give them a rhino...

I would drop those dreadnoughts and get two twin linked lascannons turrets for your predators...let them do the anti tank hunting....

I say go for more rhinos and predators as they are, the rhino now is 35pts so don't bother making it have extra armor for the 15 extra unless you got points to spare.

other than that i personally wouldn't use the new daemons since they are serious downgrades in terms of power and the way they summon now too for way too many points (i thnk they should be like 10 now), but that's just me i used to play a 50 daemon 50 marine word bearer list, so the new daemons are a real disappointment.

true...the are not like the use to be..

but dont forget that the are fearless now... you can deepstrike them without scattering within 6 inch of an icon. the are great for keeping things busy...

sure they keep stuff busy, but they still die. they can't appear and make it into combat in the same turn unless they appear within 6" of an enemy unit (rarely gonna happen) thus they become pulp after a turn of shooting. My guard ripped into three units of daemons in one turn, killed all 30, with only 4 of my 7 infantry squads shooting. the rest of my 137 models on the field made mince meat of the rest of the guys army. daemons now distract gamers and make them waste points on stuff that for 2pts more has all the same stats, plus power armor and shooting, and minus an invulnerable. i say take more marines instead of the new daemons
