Is there a way to adjust DakkaTime to our local time? And barring that, could we maybe get a DakkaClock somewhere on the site's theme? Over by the date isn't a bad option, maybe just below it - give that the stuff on the right occupies the grey-ish bar and then the line beneath it I think date on the bar / time beneath works.
Meanwhile, what is DakkaTime? EST + 4 hours? And is that GMT?

GMT (or Greenwich Mean Time) is 8 hours ahead of PST / 5 hours ahead of EST.
The ability to set your own time zone will be coming eventually, but not for a while.

Ah so. Thanks yak.
Another oddity, which is too bad it doesn't work as I like it, is the ability to doubleclick a posted message of your own and edit it right there. When I try it and click Update it gives me a pop-up alert saying I didn't specify why I'm editing the post. Then it just reverts to the old message, and drops the changes made. Am I missing where I should enter in my editing excuse?
Otherwise I like the functionality, nice and fast.

When you edit your post like that, a separate window should pop-up prompting you to enter a reason as to why you are editing your post. Perhaps your browser is blocking the window from popping up?
I'm not sure if that feature (double-click editing) is supposed to be available to all users or just to mods--I'll have to check with legoburner on that, because the "reason" you have to enter for editing something is because it is kept in an edit log, supposedly to keep track of why mods are editing posts. But if everybody has that ability there are going to be a whole lot notes in the edit logs!

Ahhh once again, good call. It wasn't the pop up blocker but the script disabler on my fantastic IE browser ...
I'll stop bothering you for a bit until things settle down and I actually find issues for you to handle
