I was thinking about adding a hierodule of some sort to my growing Tyranid army. If I am going to do this I would most like scratch build or convert something rather than pony up the money for a Forgeworld model (it is more fun that way IMO anyway).

I have been looking around for some figures to start with and thought that http://www.bigboxgames.com/ProductImages/mgp/910004/large.jpg this might work out.

Do you think the tanker bug is about the right size? Would it be too far a stretch to convert from there? I have a lot of carapace pieces from fexes and legs from 1 fex and a bunch of warriors sitting around.

I appreciate your comments and feedback.
