I've been getting some mileage out of the GW greenstuff tool, but I'm starting to think I need some more options if I want to get any better.

Somebody posted a link to a guy that sells DVDs lessons for different hobby stuff. One thing I noted was that he was using rubbery tools to work his green stuff.

An easy way and could be free (I didn't have to pay any thing - other then the visit it self) is to ask your dentist for any tools that they can no longer use. They can only use the tools so many times be for they have to throw them away. When I asked they gave me close to 2 dozen tools, with most being different tips. I've even modified some of them.

Yes clay shapers (or burnishing tools) are very good tools. You can't go far wrong with buying that set. You should also have a few other stainless steel tools though.

I just bought the GF9 tool set. It's not cheap, but it's got everything you'll ever need.
