Anyone still playing?

I've been enjoying the game alot lately and have built a new force in the past couple of months. As has been pointed out even if I don't liek ragnorok (which is what c4 is) I've still got my cards and models from 3.5.

Forces I play

Dirz (Keartis heavy)
Dirz (Danikel)
Lions
and my wife loves the big furry wolfs

Good question!

I'm hoping that C3.0/3.5/x.x can weather the storm that is pre-painted mass battle Confrag'narok and keep the flame alive until a true skirmish system from Rackham returns.

A vain hope, but my hope nonetheless...

I'm kinda loking forward to the prepaints, assuming there's a price break on the mid size models.

Every picture I've seen of production "quality" pre-paints so far... well... they are rather painful to look at.

If you were used to painting a bare model before, I don't what the issue is with touching up the new models if you don't like their paint jobs.

Some of the models for CAOR are horrible, much lower quality than the metal or even the PPP for AT-43!

I've got the rules for it and its way simpler and the incarnates are a lot weaker. Didn't buy the set as I'm not into Griffin nor Wolf as much. The Hill piece is iconic but not necessary for me. I did get a deal on some PPP for Dirz (the Phemera models are done well enough compared to the Pests of Flesh which they are modelled after). The human-like models aren't very good. I'll stick with the metal, I think, although very hard to get except piecemeal.

Confrontation is going to run in some trouble with their pre painted plastics...

Mainly the curved ornate type of armor does not get pre painted as easily as the AT-43 counter part.

Im sadden by their decision ><
