I was told by someone, when discussing warmachine vs hordes, that in warmachine, if your jacks move out of control range, they stop moving, is that true? I didn't see anything about it in the quickstart rules, but I know from playing hordes that all the rules are there in the quick start

nope, once out of controll area, they just can't recieve focus points anymore, but still spend the once they have. they just power down a little, cause the controll over them grows weaker.

They can still move.

They can still attack.

They can still use whatever special rules they have.

They just can't be assigned focus, which will limit their effectiveness.

cuning plans inlcude racing a cryxian chicken (defiler, deather ripper, nightwretch) up the board (running = 14") then channeling a spell or 2 (Deneghra's good for this). Move Deni within 14" during her activation before casting. unless said chicken is slammed or thrown in the opponent's turn you should be in range to do again in the following turn.
