Hi, this is my first post I believe, but I've been a war miniatures gamer for about four years now, I played 'Nids extensively, then Marines, then DH, then CSM for a bit, and then switched over to Warmachine for a while. I'm getting back into 40k; most likely a Nidzilla/Stealershock list, but I've still got a good chunk of marines and CSM lying around so something may come of that.
Anyway, my favorite part of the game is without a doubt converting the models and making some truly bad ass creations out of nothing but a little GS and whatever bits I've got lying around. I've been able to do some awesome stuff with poses an assault marines, armor on CSM and regular Marines, spikyness on a Hive Tyrant, and some neat combinations of Warhammer sprues and 40k marines. I find, though, that I am reaching the limit of what I can do with that, so I messed around with a fast drying putty for a little bit, and had decent results. I've graduaed onto messing around with Green Stuff, and I've run into a problem. I made a tube from a Marine backpack that comes from one of the exhaust ports to go and plug into a "power" spear for a Chaos Vet, and I've got these nasty little fingerprint marks on the GS. Is there a good way to get rid of that without damaging the placement of the model?
