Tacs:
Against Shooty:
Infiltrate scouts near the enemy lines to harass and/or distract him (if he ignores them they will kill him)
Charge him with the 42 jump models
shoot down high threat targets (Dreads, Vindicators and such)
Slaugther them all smile.gif

Against more melee
Stand behind cover with the scouts, use pistols for "rapid fire" against attackers
Counter charge with jump marines (maybe use 1 or 2 of the non chaplain squads for rapid fire base too)
Shoot down high threat targets with the lascannons again
seperate his army elements and destroy them with superior speed

Run a Blood Angels army, perhaps?

Scouts are kind of like a throwaway gift to your opponent...

Running Plasma pistols is questionable on assault troops.

Furious charge is nice (and you won't get it on the BA) but without meltabombs they aren't a real threat to everything.

8 is a good number for assault troop squads, btw.

I think you would do well to drop the scouts to a min sized sniper/hvy bolter squad, or a missile launcher if you feel you need more anti-tank. As they are now they wont keep up with the jump pack troops, and they will have difficulty taking things on by themselves.

Where ever I am...

Durandal, I have to agree with Stelek. When using JUMP squads, melta bombs are the way to go, especially if you want them to take out vehicles and such, and Im sure you know this, but its not like they take away from your shooting capabilities or CC capab....you know what I mean.

When was it cool to not be a Marine?

"Marines has to be hard, they don't love, they feel no fear, they are ready to die for the Emporer and are basically killing machines! It would be hard for the readers to sympathise with the characters....I appreciate this, but unfortunately, thats the Marines!" Delephont

2000pts is very good for 'Crons, how do you think about winning against them?
What do you do against mech-Eldar or other heavily mechanised lists?
How do you handle Nidzillas?

btw, those Scouts are 288pts worth of nothing in your list. Maybe get two Vindicators for those points.

On the topic 'Wich bases are supplied with my Terminators and how could I abuse it'...after turning into a debate on english language and the meaning of the word 'supply'.
