Iam thinking about getting sum combi melta terminators to fill the remaining 200 points..but iam not sure...

replace the GD with another prince.

if you really want the GD, then you want to fill out your points with DP first then grab it.

break down the plague marines some...6-8 should be fine.

also break down your lesser daemon squads. this will give you a better chance at getting some demons as opposed to none (1 roll for 10 guys or 2 reserve rolls for 5 man squads) If you get both, you can always summon at the same place.

if you're summoning, you're going to need more chaos space marines. Plague Marines are too expensive to use for Greater Daemon targets (they explode!). probably two or three 6 man squads will give you options. Right now, you only have two plague marine squads, and could easily find yourself in a position where you can't actually summon your daemons, which is bad.

Well iam going for a Undead space marine army using the Nurgle rules/plague marines. So iam not fielding "cheap" space marines. But you are right... It makes the Greater deamon a lot more expensive when summoning. To be sure that there is still a champion left to summon the GD I like my Plague marines squad size to be about 10.. but on the other hand..more plague marines squads..means more plasmaguns...

dunno about fielding smaller squads of lesser daemons..I like them to come all at once....on the other hand...the are scoring units..
