I've got this wicked captured wraithlord turned talos conversion going on, and I'd like to do some of the spirit stones as cracked and lifeless to show the sorry shape he is in. Anyone have any good ideas for that kind of effect?

Colors in use are blazing orange / red for gems. Bone armor, dark angel green-ish detail and cloth.
