Hi all,

I had my first game of BFG at the weekend and thought it was really good. I'm looking to start off with a small 500 point fleet of Chaos to begin with to build up some experience.

Can anyone suggest a good 500 point list to get me going please and any other tips would be great?

500pts isn't much in this game. 2 Cruisers and a couple escorts.

Seeing as how relatively cheap it is, and the differant ways you can kit the fleets, why not shop around on Ebay, spend $100 bucks and pick up 2000pts.

You'll have the variety to play around with fleet types in smaller games, and figure out if you want to pick anything specifically.

If you really want to spring on a Chaos fleet, I was recently just handed about an 8000pt fleet and I'm not really looking at keeping it.

500 points is not realy enough. You need a couple of boxes of cruisers for some variety and some escorts and/or a battleship for fun. There are some articles on the BFG website which may help, otherwise have a search around here or on other forums (specialist games) and see what other people use/recommend. As for other tips, never buy a Corsa, you will look like a chav.

Dammit, bought a Corsa three months ago!
