Misery. Missouri. Who can tell the difference.

I was kickingaround the idea of creating a Tactical Operation Center or TOC for short for my IG. These would combine Cities of Death Stratigems reguarding command and control, improved comms, surveyor, master-vox and medical stratigum foran Apoc force. So any ideas?

There's a load of miniatures on forgeworld suitable for use in this kind of thing...

I'm playing with a similar idea myself, but i've got to pursuade the wife that we've got enough money for me to spunk a load on FW stuff, lol

What is the theme of your IG?
If Cadians, I might get a bunker or a rhino, hack the top off, and put in a doll house table and furniture, with the radios, maps, all that sort of stuff added in. Then just get a few officer models and set them up, with some staff nco's making the radio calls etc.

The warstore sells just the hull and tracks of the baneblade, you could get that, either leave off the top or make it removeable then go with consoles from a land raider or similar things.

Take a look at Old Crow: they sell some 28mm vehicles that are clearly meant for C&C purposes (large radar dishes etc.) and have a great near-future quality.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

This was based off an idea I got from the Cities Of Death book. One of their pieces had the IG tank accesory dozer blade set up like a radar dish. I decided to expand on it and make it into a towed mobile unit for my armored battlegroup. The main piece is the top section for the Immolator.

That is pretty damn cool Glaive. Excellent use of spare parts!

That is amazing.

You might also check Armorcast.com I'd make recommendations but armorcast is blocked here in Red China.

I saw someone use a Mighty Empires tile as a holo-map table, with officers and commissars around it. It looked great.

- Sunwolves Great Company
- 4th Company Imperial Fists
- Hive Fleet Scylla - In progress

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... OMG, really?

I was just looking at someone's magnetized Baneblade chassis without the top on, and thought "You know, that's be a nice base for a kitbashed Gorgon..."

I'm off to call Neal, then.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

That holo-map table is an awesome idea! If I had any skill at painting forced lighting I might try it.
