I don’t suppose ...

Any of you cretins have the original Pan fo files … I only ask because I randomly logged on the other day and noticed a reference, feeling nostalgic I searched my PC for the original files and it would appear that they’re disappeared of the face of the earth. I can only assume they’ve become lost between the 2 PCs and 4 HD’s I’ve had since writing the bastard things.

If anyone has a copy I would very much appreciate it. And perhaps sometime soon, they shall indeed, be reviled ...

A time ago, I think it must have been 2006 possibly, I gave a link to the original Pan Fo Codex .Doc / .ptt ‘s along with some images in a zip file. I was wondering if anyone still has them and can send me a copy so that I may again read and be further ashamed

As for Cretin(s) it is a reasonably affectionate term for jerk, halfwit, jackass, asshat etc. Or at least it is meant in a semi- affectionate manner in this particular case.

It was a homebrew codex he wrote in his youthful enthusiasm, about a race of aliens who floated around on gas jets expelled from their bodies. IIRC, he showed it to a designer (Gav?) at a Games Day, they said one or two encouraging things, and he got incredibly excited and started promoting his army all over the internet. The list itself had a lot of formatting issued and spelling errors, which combined with the somewhat silly concept and his over the top enthusiasm to create a 40k message board comedy sensation.

You make it sound like a GW codex.

I thought it was Phil Kelly? But yeah, grand ol' times. I never got to download the files though, I think he'd exceeded bandwidth before I checked.

Were there not also models for this thing? Perhaps there in yak's file, but I dunno if I can handle the revilation right now ...

Thank you very much. It is … I would say nice to see it again but oh well. Much appreciated Yak!

I don’t know were the rumour of it being Gav. I honestly can’t remember who it was. All I really remember was that it was left on the autograph table for a period of time before being taken by someone.

The real comedy (sorry NATO Chrisjm) was that they were posted under the heading 'when will the Pan-Fo be reviled?"

Now I should be the last one on Earth to mock anyone's spellink (OK next to last person, Listy the Treadhead still has top honors) but...

'when will the Pan-Fo be reviled?"

ALL THE TIME!
