I don't know about the sculptor's origins though.

That would be a very cool theme for a gaming board - except that giant mushrooms are so top-heavy...

If it's top-heavy, just base it on something.

Creepy transcendant tech-baby. I think that beats the mushroom.

I dunno. If I had the money I'd buy lots of those mushrooms.

I'd only ever get one buddha.

The steam buddha, by the way, can be bought with a
tech lotus to sit on.

I remember that!

Clockwork Smurfs vs. the miniature fish-men of Snork! Science vs. Pluck!

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

It's really tempting, especially as some kind of wacky, teched-up colonial station for native residents of Perelandra (Venus) or the like. That's the great thing about Victorian Sci-fi/Steampunk. You can pretty much put a boiler, some goggles and a pith helmet on anything and run with it.

Is that the company that does the bear soldier line and the
toy soldier line? Those things seem really cool.

I just bought the steampunk buddha.

To be used as a proper buddha statue in a family shrine.

Painting the eyes will be hard, you're not supposed to have your eyes open when you paint the Buddha's eyes (not a very practical limitation given this piece).

Let's see how they react when I install it.

Is it proper for you to take pictures of the family shrine
and family facial reactions when you're done?

Indeed! Thanks for asking . www.paintedfigs.com

I leave it off when I go to forums now, cause I try to separate "painting studio Navin" and "wargamer / mini-fan Navin," two very different lives that however are in very much the same circles!
