Ok, I'm trying to build a competetive orks list. here's my rough idead

Warboss- Bike, PK, attack squig, 'eavy armor

Big mek- SAG

Lootas x8- Deffgunz

'Ard Boyz x11- PK Nob, Bosspole, trukk

Slugga Boyz x12- Pk Nob, Bosspole, rokkit, trukk with BS

Shoota Boyz x20- PK Nob, Bosspole, 2x rokkits

Killa Kanz x2- KMB

Big Mek and lootas cover advance, trukk models ride up with the biker boss, and the shoota boyz and kanz walk it in behind.
c&c?

SM- Lets roll to see who goes first
Nob- Urgh...ok, I got a 6
SM- Oops, looks like I got an 8, so I go first
Nob- You got a 8 on a 6 sided die?
SM- Um, yep.
Nob- Space marines.....

It looks way too easy to shoot to death.... I advise ditching the trukks and just taking shootaboyz for now until you get more points..... otherwise the enemy just has to kill two trukks to basically halt your advance.

Angron- crushing the theme and fluff of armies one horde at a time.

What If I dropped the slugga boyz mob and put them on foot 20 strong and gave them two rokkits?

Those Lootas need to be a unit that is atleast 14 man strong. Any smaller and they will be running as soon as they take enough casualties.

Ditch the 'Ard Boyz for more shootas on foot.

But I like my 'ard boyz. we'll see
hows about this

20x Sluggas PK Nob, bosspole, 2x rokkits, frags

20x Shootas PK Nob, bosspole, 2x rokkits, frags

20x Shootas PK Nob, bosspole, 2x rokkits, frags

Boss on bike with slugga and Pk, attack squig, 'eavy armor

Big Mek with SAG

8x Lootas

3x Killa kans with KMB's

Battlewagon with killcannon, 'ard top, BS, and armor plates

Then the boss would run next to or behind a screen of boyz till he's ready to get into it with the kanz walking up next to them, probably drawing some fire. The lootas, battlewagon, and mek would cover accordingly.

If you got foot sloggers you should have a KFF on that MEK

Otherwise a little better.

I still think those Lootas need to be larger.

I think I'd fold the 3 mobs of Shootas into 2 full mobs. While this makes it a little less manuverable it frees up some points to get more lootas. Also, Ork leadership is in their numbers. At 20 boyz after a few casualties (which you'll receive with a 6+ save) you won't be fearless anymore. And if you're gonna hoof it across the table then you need the KFF for sure. I'd also probably drop the Battlewagon and KKs for some Stormboyz or Deafdreads.

Don't listen to these loons. What you need is MORE TRUKS! Turn two assult almost gaurunteed if you play them right. Speed freaks is finally back and everybody recomends Horde. Complete Lunacy Dropping Killer Kans for defdreds? Well that is perhaps the worst advice I have ever heard. Killer Kans are decent dreds are a waste unless they are taken as troops because you already have 9 kans. The Bwagon is overpriced as a tank but try it out and see how you like it.

Biker boss doesnt need the eavy armor cause he gets the save from the bike but he does need cybork body when that turbo boost save goes away

This is silly! Buttons are not how one escapes dungeons! I would smash the button and rain beatings liberally down on the wizard for playing such a trick!

alright, re-tooled....

Boss- bike, cybork, attack squig, pk, slugga

Mek- SAG/KFF

Lootas- x12

Sluggas- 30x, 3x rokkits, frags, PK Nob with bosspole

Shootas- 30x, 3x rokkits, frags, PK Nob with bosspole

Killa Kanz- 3x, KMB

Battlewagon- Killcannon, BS, 'ard top, armor plates

Same plan, boss stays near boyz if he needs to, kanz do too, lootas fire with SAG mek and battlewagon. if the mek has a kff, he walks between boyz to give both the save.

I think the biker boss is one of the best units out there but if your footslogging do you plan on hiding him till the other guys big nasty unit comes out?
Or throwing into the fray and just hope you can shoot everything else till your kans come and mop up the rest?
With your walking boys maybe take another mek with the sag or a warphead instead of the bikerboss cause then you dont have that one guy that can hit on turn 2 with no one to back him up.
