You guys must be sick of readin all the Ork lists, but bear with me here. Im entered in a league that starts Teusday of next week, and im supposed to have at least 1000 points by then. Im really trying to fully paint this army. Usually, I go overboard buying up the "perfect" list, then I never get around to painting it.
Here is what I have at the moment:

Big Mek with KFF

32 Slugga Boys

20 Shoota Boys

2 Killa Kans with Rockets

5 Kommandos

Yea, not nearly 1000. Im getting some cash just in time for the weekend and all the new releases, soooooo I was thinking along the lines of:

HQ
Big Mek 85
KFF

Elites
5 Kommandos 90
Nob
PK
Bosspole

Troops
12 Slugga Boys 162
Nob
PK
Bosspole
Trukk
Ram
RPJ
Rokkit

12 Slugga Boys 162
Nob
PK
Bosspole
Trukk
Ram
RPJ
Rokkit

20 Shoota Boys 160
Nob
PK
Bosspole

Heavy Support
Killa Kan 50
Rokkit

Killa Kan 50
Rokkit

Im still 200 short

I would like to add another squad of shootas, I just dont know if ill be able to get them by Tuesday. Im not too sure if this is the correct build for a smaller point game, but let me know what you think...

You will need add more kommandos, just 5 isn't going to anything and will easy get shot down. 9-10 is a minimum, IMHO.

Agreed more commandos will help you out. Also consider getting a battle wagon in there if you just need to fill the points. Just buy a LRBT and make it look Orky and you got your self the rest of the points you were looking for.

That idea sounds good. Im guessing the tank config that would work best in this list would be the mobile killcannon/mass big shootas.

Here is what I will be playing with on Teusday.

Got a couple games in with the list today, I was not very satisfied by how certain units performed..

First off. The Battlewagon proved to be totally ineffective while at the same time a huge point sink. The 24 inch range of the Str 7 Killcannon does not justify paying 60 points.

The new trukk models are quite large and a lot more difficult to hide compared to the old version. The trukk boys did serve their purpose, however.

The 30 strong shoota mob was my most useful unit. They soaked up a lot of fire and scored key kills with the three rockets.

The KFF Mek tagged along, but did not make back his points in any of the games.

I wasn't expecting much from the killa kans, and they didnt do much.

I could have used the Skorcha buggy more effectively, but it didnt really do much either.

This list struggled against anything mobile, and it was greatly limited by the range of its weapons.

I will post a new list with desired changes soon.

If you took stormboyz you could counter those fast units
