As most necron players know, only the eldar know the true scale of the Necron menace. What are your ideas about what will occur when the more advanced and larger necron tombworlds open and start harvesting?
Also, what is your thoughts about the sacrophagus lying underneath the mountains on mars, that was declare quarantinus by the tech-priests?

The thing that I would like to see most of all would be a large scale clash between the tyranids (the ultimate living organism) and the necrons (the ultimate anti-living collective). I wonder if there is any possibility for crossover between the two species as one starts to dominate the other... might they blur together?

I'm pretty sure tyranids avoid necrons for some strange reason. So maybe they know what's going on.

I think that has more to do with the fact that nids have zero to gain from an encounter with them. First off half the worlds that tombships exist on are dead already so theres no reason for them to go there and second there is no biological material from the necrons themselves for the nids to acquire.

there's also that theory that the 4th C'tan is in some sort of sleep in a stasis pod or something currently travelling with one of the bigger hivefleets.

Well, we know that the 3rd necron god is in statis on mars, another is in statis somewhere in the galaxy just floating around.
In the Necron codex on the back page, you can see the hive fleets are avoiding a strange silver sphere - could this be a necron warship of some sort? Apocalypse hints at the existance of a larger war machine than the pylons.

The silver sphere is most likely the Dysons Sphere that the Eldar Harliquins trapped the Outsider in ( Outsider = 4th C'tan ).

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |
