How's it look. I figure the boys run forward, with the 90 slugga boys in the middle using the "March" move to go 12". The tankbusta boyz hide behind the slugga boyz and use them as a screen while trying to pick off enemy tanks within 24". The Shootaboyz flank the slugga boyz and fire onto the enemy as they advance. The warbosses go where they need to in order to take out enemy tanks in CC, and so does the warbikes. I might end up replacing the tankbustas with burnas, if I end up having more than enough AT capability. So if Sluggaboy= , Shootaboy= , Tankbuster= , Warboss= and bikes= , it'll look something like.....

..................

What do you guys think? Should I replace the tankbusters with burnas? Should I use warpheads instead of warbosses?

Nice deployment idea, but I'm afraid that it's going to have issues in the Dawn of War scenario (come on from long table edge - none of this short edge business), but the general idea is certainly sound.

Tankbustas definitely become "better" in the new edition, and it makes sense why they are what they are in the new codex with the addition of screening rules.

I don't like the lack of KFF's to protect that horde. Every wound is essentially going to be a dead body, and you're going to have serious issues firing in that formation since the Sluggas will block LOS to the shootas, so unless they're shooting directly forward, the "running" sluggas are going to struggle.

The Boss's are OK, but I'd like to see Attack Squigs in there, since you lose an attack for the second CCW in 5th Ed supposedly. You also lack bosspoles, which kind of hurts all around, since even 1 Boy out of a unit is still "Scoring".

Eh, I don't like the idea of buying a KFF to give a 6 point model a invulnrable save. I'd rather just let the poor bugger die and have a shokk attack gun.

I think the Dawn of War mission will never be played. It's a good way to spend an hour setting up, and hour moving, and then get to fight for 2 turns before the game is over. It doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me. Even shooting armies won't have fun, as it's easy to set up enough terrain that there are no targets....

As far as attack squigs go.... that's 15 points! 15 points for +1 attack is not worth it in my opinion, not when he already has 4.

I put the bosspoles on the units with low models except for the tankbustas... a) because I'm not buying them a nob and b) they're going to be hiding using the new LOS rules.

15pts for an extra str 10 attack is too much? Please let me know how thats not worth it.

This is silly! Buttons are not how one escapes dungeons! I would smash the button and rain beatings liberally down on the wizard for playing such a trick!

It's the cost of 5 boys to put it on both of them.... I'd rather have 15 str 3 attacks and 5 T4 wounds than 2 strength 10 attacks.
