Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I once picked up Testor's paints as an experiment. Those glossy paints, I think they're meant for die cast cars and model airplanes.

I played with them but got poor results on GW plastic. I had a blue and a jar of primer, neither of which worked very well.

They say acrylic on them but they seem "harder" than the premium paints like GW, P3, etc.

I'm just curious if people know what those are, and how they're different.

I might try the primer on metal someday along with foundation paints, the other thread reminded me of it.

You probably got a gloss enamel paint. Ive seen people try em on GW and its always embarrassing.

yeah it came out really weird, it wouldn't hold consistent colour.

But what are they, different chemicals? They are only good for large surfaces?

Unfortunatly i dont know the specifics but its for sure way different than regular acrylics.
