comments and suggests would be more than welcome!
(in particular, i'd like to know if anyone thinks that the big shoota's left arm and ammo feed look awkward.)
the big shoota is the bit from the burnaz/lootaz box on a standard boy and the bikers both have bits from the fantasy orc line (heads and a choppa arm.)

The hand holding the ammo links seem somewhat empty. It looks like the ammo is "hovering" slightly over the hand, although it might be the photo.

However, if the ammo is indeed slightly above the hand, you might add on or two pieces of the short ammo link from the standard Ork sprue. You might sort of stack them under the current ammo links to make it look like he is holding a longer link that that is folded in his hand.

it is in the hand, but only just. i think you've got a good idea about adding some more ammo to fill his hand more, and i'll probably give that a shot tonight.
thanks!

Oh, by the way, I completely forgot to mention that otherwise your minis look splendid. I like the use of fantasy Orc heads. They bring a nice character to the bikers. The first one made me think of Humongous from Mad Max 2.

I second the use of the fantasy minis. I cant see the big shoota guy so well but as far as i can tell he looks grade A. Nice work!

all of my bikers are going to be masked, mostly with fantasy orc heads.
somehow, it just seems appropriate.
(and good catch on the 'road warrior' reference, as that's exactly what i had in mind!)

I definitely like the Fantasy/40k mix people have been doing lately ^_^. I really like these bikes compared to the old ones. Much more detail, much more orky feel to them. When can we expect paint ^_^?

I love the use of fantasy orc parts on the bikers, and the Big Shoota Ork looks nice, though you should definitely try to add more ammo to the little belt, to make it look like his hand actually needs to be there to support it, and also to make it look like he has enough ammo to shoot for more than maybe four seconds before running out.

Again, the bikers look great, can't wait to see what you paint them up like!
