Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

... is it still good?

I've been using iTunes but it seems like a CPU hog to me.

Winamp is quite primitive now, the latest version is bloated with useless stuff and there have been a continued stream of security problems with it. A windows port is being made of Amarok which is my favourite mp3 player (currently linux only), but it is also quite greedy with system resources, though it is a far better music management system than anything else, including itunes. I would suggest you get advice from others on what is best right now, and then check out amarok when it comes out on windows.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

I rock winamp 5.5, and I upgraded to it directly from winamp 2! If you simply want to queue up some songs and let them play, winamp does it admirably. However, it doesn't do much else.

Itunes seems to be really resource heavy to me, and I've never had problems running winamp while also playing games....
