WINTERSHADOW COMBINE

Cloaked in darkness, this group of iron liches have stalked western Immoren and ripped its arcane secrets out of the shadows for over five centuries. This trio acts as one of the more subtle and precise instruments in Cryx's arsenal. Through rites unknown to any others, they may dismantle warjacks with frightening ease. The Combine then corrupts the cortex and summons in 'jacks from the Nightmare Empire to wreak havoc on the living.

The Withershadow Combine comes in a blister (PIP 34060). A player may field one Withershadow Combine in his Cryx army.

The Withershadow Combine is featured in WARMACHINE: Legends, the next expansion to WARMACHINE, which releases this summer. Get a preview of the Withershadow Combine in No Quarter #17 this March. The Withershadow Combine arrives this May.

YURI THE AXE

Some men are simply too dangerous to let live, or at least to let free. A hunter of nearly inhuman skill from the north of Khador, Yuri has left a staggering trail of bodies behind him. The leaders of Khador have played on Yuri's patriotism and offered him amnesty in exchange for turning his talents to killing southerners, which he does with superlative ease.

Yuri the Axe comes in a blister (PIP 33058). A player may field one Yuri the Axe in his Khador army.

Yuri the Axe is featured in WARMACHINE: Legends, the next expansion to WARMACHINE, which releases this summer. Get a preview of Yuri the Axe in No Quarter #17 this March. Yuri the Axe arrives this May.

VASSAL OF MENOTH

The unclean sorcerous technology of warjacks is forbidden to most who serve the Protectorate, but the ruling Synod has sanctioned the collection of wizards and mechaniks known as the Vassals to sully their souls with the power necessary to construct the weapons of modern war. Mostly captured from foreign lands, the Vassals sometimes take the field and lend direct arcane support to the warjacks they helped fashion to subjugate their former countrymen.

The Vassal of Menoth comes in a blister (PIP 32055). A player may field one Vassal of Menoth for each warcaster in his Protectorate of Menoth army.

The Vassal of Menoth is featured in WARMACHINE: Legends, the next expansion to WARMACHINE, which releases this summer. Get a preview of the Vassal of Menoth in No Quarter #17 this March. The Vassal of Menoth arrives this May.

Cryx guys = win.

The Khador guy is a tad over the top for me (I shudder at the thought of the filling that cloak's gonna need), but I'll get one anyway.

I know it it's all semantics in the end but I would more likely say steam punk.

And I must say, although I am not fond of the Cryx style, I do rather like these liches.

I like the Cryx stuff a lot, but the others, not so much.

The Khador one is too busy, and I don't care for the pose of the Menoth one much. None of it is really bad, it just doesn't do anything for me.

There are a couple Cryx models that make nice necron lords. I actually bought one for that purpose. Here's the model in question and my inspiration, mine's not done yet though

They'd be awesome REALLY ancient Mechanicus magi.

And that Vassal would make an excellent WH Penitent.

I actually think the Vassal looks bland, from the pic we see of it.

That vassal could join my ranks of crazed Bret battle pilgrims. Funny enough, I already have a Harbinger being pulled by the pilgrims and will get a Menoth knight as a champion knight.

SCATHER WEAPON CREW

Rather than shatter walls or unleash explosives, scathers deliver dragonblight itself as a deadly liquid poison. This substance can dissolve metal, putrefy wood, or crumble stone as easily as flesh and bone. Even a few drops will inflict searing agony on a man before granting the sweet release of death. Nothing will ever grow again on ground struck by the scather.

The Scather Weapon Crew comes one per blister (PIP 73029). A player may field two Scathers for each warlock in his army.

The Scather Weapon Crew arrives in stores this May. You can read more about the Scather Weapon Crew in the recently released HORDES: Evolution expansion for the award winning game of Monstrous Miniatures Combat.

Ha, if they start releasing bio weapons like that scather crew, they had better release one for cygnar too. It could be like the "rust gas" from thief 2.
