Did they say something very, very naughty, or just not make any new strips or something?

I hope it comes back.

So you enjoyed it?

We didn't really do anything bad. The entire comic was a parody, similar to how powerup is a parody of that awful CAD comic. So shiny took this one dude's comic and paradoied/copied it, he got offended, and then the furries/spriters/other crappy comics got offended or something.

Now the comic is blocked and all of us who worked on the comic, rated it 5 and put fun comments, got IP-banned. It's just the offended reaction from all those crappy sprite/furry guys who were probably jealous that stickfigures were ranked #5 after just two weeks. Rankings are mostly from popularity and the comic got mentioned in the SA GBS thread about 40k, so...

I hear there's a thread asking to unfreeze it. Ill check when I reset my IP. Dr. Shiny made a .rar with the comics. I'll let you know what develops, or you could just head to eternityofwar.com, register, and go to the slaanesh demon world (NSW obviously).

It's pathetic for them to freeze it without them giving a reason.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I had never heard of this.

Sounds to me to be a lockdown that GW was not responsible for, suprise eh. That's if I read stonefox's garbled post correctly.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

On the other hand the cartoons were so awfully drawn... No doubt they've been done with paint, but I could do better. South park looks like Michaelangelo compared to this.

Garbled how? Look up sprite and furry if you don't understand.

Congrats you just missed the entire point of the comic.

Maybe it would help to have a link to what it is a parody of. Some of us don't scour the interwebs for 40k comics, especially furry and I have no clue what sprite is, but it probably makes baby Jesus cry.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

You could say golden throne and that comic that goes freem all the time. Boring comics like those. And pretty much every comic that takes a lot of time and talent to draw just to end up with a stale punchline. But hey, now that I explained the entirety the comic obviously won't be funny anymore.

It doesn't make fun of furries but we do like making fun of 'em cuz they get so offended. Also Sprite comics.

Special hell for people like you.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I bought this bag for the warhams. But, since I did that pretty much already goes against the whole concept of warhams much like those dudes wearing che guevara shirts.

Sorry bro, I just don't like it. But yeah, look at GT, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Penny Arcade. It takes a whole lot of time to draw only to deliver a so-so punchline. Grim Dorkness does the same thing but we can churn these out in 3 min

I downloaded and read the archives. I think the comic in the form it is (or was?) was pretty crude. Maybe that was intentional: Saying "We don't care" while mocking the other horribly drawn and lettered comics that exist and take themselves far too seriously.

Either way, poorly drawn and badly lettered is really only humorous on rare occasions, especially if it's by someone who hasn't shown the ability to do better. As others have said, it's often a lot of mileage to get to a moderately amusing joke. The Golden Throne guys seemed to do a lot more with less and were amusing despite regularly reusing some old jokes.

The whole idea of 'making fun of the immature gamer segment' falls apart when, as far as I can tell, it looks like it's being mocked by the same segment.

Still, I'd look at more if you do them, especially if you plan to improve in some way.

This is, of course, my opinion and it's your right to ignore me.

Finally a wargaming comic that understands that the funny thing about wargaming is that wargamers are a pack of social stunted, profoundly obese subnormals.

Thank you for this. It's like Jerkcity for the tabletop set.

Yeah. Dr. Shiny decides which comics go in so I have no say there. You could visit eternityofwar.com, register, and hit the slaanesh demon world forum (NWS obviously) if you want to contribute.

EOW thought there was a niche for this comic so we rolled with the idea. And yes warhams can be pretty socially stunted sometimes.
