I'm getting bored with my first force, Nidzilla, and I'm wondering what people think the most tactically challenging/oddball/fun to paint and model list is.

What army do you think is the most fun?

If you want to have fun take a Radical Daemonhunter list that incorporates Daemonhosts and some marines in addition to th basic makings of a Daemonhunter list.

That is a fun list. I played my friend Nate's Daemon hunters with a 1000 point swarmy nids with all the force organization slots filled. He has no Grey Knights in the list and instead has a few Space Marine scouts along with his psycannon inquisitors, chimeras, hellgun guys, and Daemon Hosts. I am looking for something a bit more competitive than that, but I like the suggestion.

Orks are the newest funnest thing.

I like the orks. I don't see them as very interesting tactically, though. Storm Boyz and Commandos are fun, but swarms of boyz aren't. Maybe KOS; I haven't seen that army locally and it would be very fun. Also, I don't have to paint as many boyz. I'm going to look into that one.

What else is fun?

Ok. I would say Dark Eldar, but their models aren't crash hot (outside of the jebikes and vehicles). So rather, I'll encourage you to check out either a varient Chaos list (maybe mark themed, or type themed) or SOB - a driveby force with added organ launcher death is always good fun.

Sisters is one of the lists I was heavily considering. The exorcist is probably my favorite model on the GW line. Also, they aren't very strong in any build and that will add a tactical dimension to the games I play.

Why do you recommend the sisters/think they are fun?
