Hi all
Here's a list Id like some feedback on. Not so much on what to change, but on the list it self.

Farseer- Runes of Witnessing, Spirit Stones, Doom and Guide
Autarch- Swooping Hawk Wings, Power Weapon, Fusiongun

Rangers-x10
Rangers-x5
Pathfinders-x10
Guardians-x12, Scatterlaser, Warlock w/Conceal
Guardian Storm Squad-x8, x2 Fusionguns, Warlock w/Enhance

Wraithlord-w/Brightlance, Eldar Missle Launcher
Dark Reapers-x5
Dark Reapers-x3 w/Exarch w/Eldar Missle Launcher and Fast Shot

Should shoot the crap outta most things right? I realize that it's missing vehicles (other than the Wraithlord) but take this as a starter army of sorts.

It's kind of small and squishy, even for 1500pts. Not much assault power either. Not well-rounded for a starter army.

A very static list. An assault based army will eat it for breakfast.

"...burninating the pea-sants..."

Hey trogdor! After you burninate the countryside, try burninating the tabletop with more monstrous goodness.

For instance, my Eldar footslogger list has some rock-hard units like Eldrad, and Avatar, and a Wraithlord, backed up by Dark Reapers and Howling Banshees and the rest of classic Eldar goodness.

There's nothing wrong with your concept, only your unit choice. You need some staying power for this type of list to work, and none of your units accomplish this without exploitable weaknesses.

Ba-zziiing!

You've got the beginnings of a nice firebase list here, but it could use a little tweaking. Static lists are not bad in themselves, but have to take precautions against CC and fast maneuvering. If you are scary to CC lists and can punish them on the way in (especially taking out transports), you can be the one eating the CC list for breakfast. Marmalade goes well with toasted Berzerker, by the way.

I agree with the Colonel. You need some deterrent force to keep CC units off your hiney. The Avatar will take care of this handily. Eldrad works well with him too, and allows you to adapt your deployment after all units are down (which really helps static lists too). They are both better choices than the Autarch, who isn't that great in CC, has a single shot vs. tanks, and whose reserves bonus isn't a big deal in an infantry list.

Using the avatar also allows you to skip the Warlock in your Guardian unit (they may die, but they don't care). Doing this and trimming your units to 10 will serve you well. Once enemy units close, they are more than welcome to chew through 20+ guardians for a couple of tuns while you move your counterchargers in, and continue to shoot the enemy's late-arriving support units.

And even with the Avatar, Storm Guardians aren't a good buy. They simply aren't worth it in CC, and their anti-tank firewpower is short-ranged, slow to move up, and unreliable due to inaccuracy. A unit of Avengers with PW/SS and Bladestorm/Defend or another unit of Guardians with scatterlaser will play to your strengths better.

The large number of Rangers you have taken will serve you well. If you have the FOC slots left, break them up evenly into as many squads as you can. With their high coversaves and lower target priority vs. your higher-strength shooters, they don't need numbers to keep from running.

I'd recommend dropping the second Reaper unit (with the exarch) for a second BL/EML Wraithlord. It's easy to avoid at least one unit of Reapers, usually (flank if they're in the same spot, pick one and eliminate if they're not). The BL/EML combo will still take out heavily-armored troops when necessary, but can up your (currently very limited) anti-tank power significantly. Most importantly, he will be more resilient against plasma, battlecannon rounds, and other AP3 anti-infantry fire. Taking another Wraithlord will also make the incoming fire that would kill your current single WL and/or an Avatar have to pick their targets more carefully. Three monstrous creatures are better than one.

If you're not into the Eldravatar combo, at least try one or the other in your static list. I recommend the Avatar if nothing else.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Thanks all for your feedback!
Im actually going to be parting with this little force, luckily, it still leaves me about 2000 odd points of eldar to work with.
Gives me thoughts of adding all those aspect warriors I always wanted/never got for some reason and other units.
Im glad that Ill be passing on this list in good faith that the guy getting it wont have far to go to really start whoopin on other people!

Thanks again!
