Hey just deciding to post more lists and see which ones get the best feeback/comments. Here is an experimental Assault list, hopefully I get to use it against something else other than 'nids.....someday.

Standard landraider
Ragnar Blackmane
9 Blood Claws (2 w PW)

9 Grey Hunters (1 w plasmagun, 2 w plasmapistols)
Dedicated Rhino w/ smoke

Ven Dread w/ ass cannon

Rune Priest on bike w/ rune axe , belt of russ and wolftooth necklace
8 blood claw bikers (2 w PF)

4 Wolf Scouts (1 w Plasma gun, 2 w Plasma Pistos, 1 w Bolter)

The list is too HQ heavy. Ragnar, ven Dread and RP in 1500 pts. I'd drop the Dread for another Rhino GH squad, two squads of 8 GHs would suffice.

I took the Ven Dread as an elites choice but I could try having more shooting GH with plasma. Thanks

Dropping the dread is probably a good idea, as it is the slowest thing you have, and the range isn't too good.

Using the bikes to enter combat first, and following up with the rhino's is your best bet, I reckon.

In 1500pts you have to have 2 HQ's for Space Wolfs. With this in mind, you might want to take a Wolf leader in place of Ragnar. He would be cheaper and just as good.

Also, you might want to drop the Land Raider for another Rhino. 250pts is alot to drop into a 1500pts army.

I personally love the Wolfs. Any tactical squad that can have 3 powerfists is A-Ok in my book.
